RUMIA: An Adaptive nursing
Lingerie
(2024)
This project explores the unaddressed need for accessible and aesthetically pleasing nursing lingerie designed specifically for women with physical disabilities. The focus lies on developing an adaptive bra that prioritizes user-friendliness. I explored the arena of haptic closures for those with dexterity limitations and posture-correcting mechanisms to enhance both comfort and functionality.
With this design, I tried to reduce the burden on the women, by keeping their modesty in mind and making them feel confident.
